Mavis was the
second cat that I had after leaving home. Her full name is Princess Mavis
Stubby Little Bear. She is called Princess because she is very haughty and
poe-faced and the Stubby and Little Bear bits come because she has no tail.
She once had a glorious, extra long, glossy black tail but was tragically
ran over one day and had her tail broken. It was so bad that it had to be
cut off. She now has a little stump and manages very well. Mavis is affectionate
and soft and loves to be cuddled. She has a very high-pitched meow and also
makes lots of chirruping noises. She is eight years old and is one of my little
girls.
