Monty was our
first Maine Coon, a breed originating from the state of Maine in America.
He came shortly after the death of Amelia as I couldn't stand the pain of
not having her. He was a kitten when he arrived and quite shy and quiet. All
that changed when he got big and boy, did he get big! Stretched out, he was
one metre long!!!! His full name was Monty Snowcat or The Cat of Snow. A very
affectionate cat, he was always with me. He had massive paws and beautiful,
bushy tail. He was always meowing or chirruping, a very talkative cat. We
had him for four and a half blissful years before he ran into the road one
morning and was killed. My boy.
