The Secret History by Donna Tartt

What the blurb on the back says...

"Under the influence of their charismatic classics professor, a group of clever, eccentric misfits at an elite New England college discover a way of thinking and living that is a world away from the humdrum existence of their comtemporaries. But when they go beyond the boundaries of normal morality their lives are changed profoundly and for ever."

What I thought of it...

I thought this book was excellent! I really couldn't put it down. The plot twists and turns and it's totally captivating. Tartt makes her characters very real and I found I could relate to them very well and easily. This book is definitely a walk on the dark side but it's very, very good!
